"The exploration of a spatial complexity within a scheme of refined geometry is more evident in this dwelling, the first one built in Eivissa/Ibiza. The complexity of the program is resolved in folded, doubled, labyrinthine interiors, framed in an exterior form of extreme simplicity. The program remains rigorously bound, circumscribed by a perimeter of platonic rotundity, unitary, which conceals the fragmented program. Eivissa/Ibiza can be understood in terms of a carved prismatic container, excavated by patios, but at the same time related to the landscape through the same walls that organize its interior, come out, take possession of the land, ordering it, and articulate it with the interior. These organizing walls are painted in primary colors, in contrast with the white abstraction of the container. The maximum spatial complexity is wrapped in the maximum formal simplicity. Here too, the flowing space is underlined by the scenographic treatment of light."

The comprehensive renovation was executed in 2022, maintaining the original spirit of the project and updating it to contemporary design standards of comfort and efficiency.
